# Third-party notices

GidoraAi includes or builds against third-party software. Each component remains governed by its own license.

Major runtime components include:

- Ollama-derived runtime source — MIT License — retained in `LICENSE`.
- llama.cpp / GGML backend source fetched at the revision in `LLAMA_CPP_VERSION` — license files are retained in the fetched/package payload.
- MLX and MLX-C sources fetched at revisions in `MLX_VERSION` and `MLX_C_VERSION` — their upstream license files govern those components.
- Go modules listed in `go.mod` and `go.sum`, including Gin, Cobra, x/sys, x/sync, and model conversion dependencies — governed by their respective module licenses.
- `app/dialog` includes a separately retained `LICENSE` file.
- Piper 2023.11.14-2 offline text-to-speech runtime — MIT License. The
  installer retains `lib/piper/licenses/PIPER_LICENSE.md`.
- Bundled Piper voice models `fa_IR-amir-medium` and `en_US-joe-medium` —
model cards and their source-dataset licensing metadata are retained under
`lib/piper/licenses`. Both selected model cards identify CC0 source datasets.

Release packaging must preserve license files shipped by native backend payloads. Dependency updates should run the existing dependency/license review before release. This notice supplements rather than replaces any component license.
